Project Overview

This demo provides an inside look at a custom data platform I designed in collaboration with Figma AI. The project was designed to bridge a critical gap in our existing analytics workflow by providing a more flexible, internal alternative to off-the-shelf tools.

🚀 Goal

The primary objective was to overcome the limitations of Tableau regarding precise access control. Our team required a solution to manage complex, multi-level authority settings and permissions that Tableau could not easily support.

💡 Solution

I led the design of a robust Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) system tailored to our specific organizational needs:

• Tailored Permissions: Administrators can now assign specific reports to users based precisely on their organizational level and role.

• Batch Management Efficiency: To streamline the administrative workflow, I designed a "Team Reports" mechanism. This allows admins to group relevant reports together and assign them to managers in a single action, eliminating the need for tedious individual selections.

• Enhanced Security: To ensure data integrity and confidentiality, I implemented a security monitoring dashboard that tracks device login history and flags unauthorized access attempts.

Final result

The final result was refined after two weeks of collaboration with our internal team.
